Porsche Sports Car Night at Porsche Centre Shanghai Pudong was a star-studded evening giving local customers a chance to view the full sports car model range. The event was highlighted by the local launch of the Porsche 911 Edition Style, designed especially for the China market. The theme for the evening, “True to myself” also serves as the motto for the dynamic and exclusive special edition of the historic 911 series.

The success of the 911 series began with its introduction in 1963; since then it has undergone continuous development, but the concepts of performance and style have remained throughout out the model’s history. The company continues to set new goals for itself in combining classic design with ground-breaking technology. The Porsche 911 Edition Style emphatically embodies the principles of Porsche Intelligent Performance.

With the Edition Style Ruby Red Metallic present, guests at Porsche Centre Shanghai Pudong enjoyed an introduction into the history of the 911 series. Mr Wu, Regional Manager of Porsche China addressed the attendees, emphasising the importance of the 911 in the history of motorsport and the unique qualities of the Edition Style, designed to appeal to the confident, discerning, cosmopolitan driver.

The Edition Style is available in a limited production of only 188 models, in three striking colours of Ruby Red Metallic, Macadamia Metallic or Basalt Black Metallic. Every car in the 911 series displays an unmistakable elegance and exclusivity defines the 911 Edition Style. Finishing touches such as the stainless steel door sills with the 911 Edition Style logo and limited edition plaque on the glove box set this car apart. Chrome sports tailpipes will leave a lasting impression as this car pulls ahead of the pack. The 911 Edition Style will naturally appeal to the driver who wishes to distinguish himself from the rest. The coupé model is available for RMB1,499,600 and the cabriolet version for RMB1,630,300.
